Reports to: The Chief Registration Officer

Location: Mahe

Working Hours:

• 8am to 4pm (Extended working hours during Election Period)
• Flexible to work on weekends (when necessary)

Job Purpose & Summary

Ensure that all Voter’s Registration procedures are being followed and that the Registers of voters are credible.

Main Responsibilities

1.1 Conduct Registration of voters and all associated registration procedures as directed which may include verification of residence to confirm veracity of applications

1.2 Perform all tasks related to Registration of voters as lawfully delegated by the Chief Registration Officer

1.3 Assist with the conduct of elections and referenda

1.4 Perform all elections related tasks as lawfully delegated by the Chief Electoral Officer

1.5 Assist with delimitation of boundaries and voter’s census

1.6 Assist with voter’s education

1.7 Any other lawful related duties as may be required by the Commission
